By default, the Agent name in Atera is the same as the machine name that the Agent was installed on. To better manage your Agents, you should apply a more meaningful name that relates to the company the Agent belongs to.
To rename an agent:
1. From the left-hand panel, click Devices. The Devices page appears.
2. Select the agent you'd like to modify. The Agent page appears.
2. Click on the Edit dropdown and select Agent. The Edit Agent window appears
3. Enter the new Agent name in the Name field.
4. Click Apply.
