By default the Agent name in Atera is the same as the machine name that the Agent was installed on.
To better manage your Agent's you may wish to apply a more meaningful name, e.g. a name that relates to the company the Agent belongs to.
An Agent name can be changed in Atera in just a few steps.
The process described below will do the following:
To modify an Agent name follow the steps below:
|1. Go to the specific agent to be modified|
|2. Click Edit > Edit Agent|
|The Edit Agent popup displays.|
|3. Enter the new Agent name in the Name field|
|4. Click Apply|
