Error: 'No volumes selected for snapshot' when Exchange backups are failing.

Description

  • Exchange backups are failing 
  • Error: 'No volumes selected for snapshot' 

Solution

  1. Right-click any local disk
  2. Select Configure Shadow Copies
  3. Highlight Volume name reporting error
  4. Select Settings
  5. Set the Maximum Size to No Limit
  • NOTE: If No Limit is already selected
    1. Select Limit Use > accept the default size
    2. Select OK > OK
    3. Complete steps above
