The Microsoft Licensing report shows complete Microsoft licensing information, including metrics on the number of stations, office installations (excluding MS Project), office keys, and operating system keys.

The Microsoft Licensing Report
This report displays the following information:
Statistics
This section of the report displays the number of stations, installed Office versions, Office Keys, and operating system keys.
Operating Systems & Office Editions
This section of the report displays the proportion of operating systems (OSs) and Office Editions within the selected site(s).
Sites
This section of the report displays each site's agents and their associated OS editions, versions, license keys, as well as the Office versions, and license keys.
Operating System Keys
This section of the report displays each site, their OS System Keys, and the associated devices.
Office Keys
This section of the report displays each site, their Office Keys, and the associated devices.
Note: For security, the full key is sometimes unavailable in the Windows registry.
Generate the Microsoft Licensing Report
To run the Microsoft Licensing report:
1. From Reports, on the side panel, click Microsoft Licensing.
The Microsoft Licensing Report page appears.
2. Select the report parameters:
- Site Name(s)
- Agent Name(s)
- Operating System(s):
- Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11
- Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2016, and 2019
- Office Edition(s):
- Office 2000, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019
- Office 365
Note: If you'd like to exclude devices that are no longer in use, check Exclude retired devices. To define a retired device, go to Admin > Settings > Devices. Learn more
3. Click Generate. The Microsoft Licensing report displays (see What is in the Microsoft Licensing report).
To export the Microsoft Licensing report to Excel or PDF:
Click the Export dropdown, in the upper-right corner of the report, and select Excel or PDF.
Schedule the Microsoft Licensing Report
To schedule the Microsoft Licensing report:
1. From Reports, on the side panel, click Microsoft Licensing.
The Microsoft Licensing Report page appears.
2. Click the Schedule Report tab.
3. Select the report parameters:
- Site Name(s)
- Agent Name(s)
- Operating System(s):
- Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11
- Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2016, and 2019
- Office Edition(s):
- Office 2000, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019
- Office 365
Note: If you'd like to exclude devices that are no longer in use, check Exclude retired devices. To define a retired device, go to Admin > Settings > Devices. Learn more
4. Click Schedule. The Add Report Schedule window appears.
5. Fill out the schedule:
- Give the scheduled report a clear, concise description.
- Select the Technicians Name(s).
- You can schedule weekly and/or monthly reports.
- For Weekly, select the day, hour and frequency.
- For Monthly, select the date and hour.
- Click Apply. The schedules appear in the Add Report Schedule window.
6. Click Apply.
Done! The scheduled report appears in the Schedule Report tab.
To edit the Microsoft Licensing report schedule:
The scheduled report can be edited. You can edit the Configuration (Description, Technician Name(s), and schedule) as well as the Filters (site name, agent name, operating system, office edition, and whether or not to exclude retired devices).
