Install Acronis on your end-user devices via Atera to ensure they're fully protected and backed up.
Note:
- The Acronis installation is silent (runs in the background) and no hard reboot is required.
- The Acronis installation script will run only on Windows devices.

Install Acronis on end-user devices via Atera
To install Acronis from the Devices page:
1. From Devices (on the sidebar), select your device(s).
2. Click the ellipses icon > Add-ons > Acronis > Backup & Protect > Install.
Note: You can also install Acronis (on a single device) by clicking Manage > Add-ons > Acronis > Backup & Protect > Install.
The Install Acronis window appears.
3. Select the Customer Tenant Name and Protection Plan.
4. Click Install.
Installation request sent. A snackbar confirming the installation request will appear on the bottom left of your screen.
Check the notification center (top right) for updates.
To install Acronis from the Site page:
1. From Sites (on the sidebar), select your site. The Site page appears.
2. Select the Devices tab. Then select the All tab.
3. Select the device(s).
4. Click the ellipses icon and select Add-ons > Acronis > Backup & Protect > Install.
Note: You can also install Acronis (on a single device) by clicking Manage > Add-ons > Acronis > Backup & Protect > Install.
The Install Acronis window appears.
5. Select the Customer Tenant Name and Protection Plan.
6. Click Install.
