We have written a program to post alerts to a device within Atera using the API.
This works really well for us during the working day as we a 50" TV running the dashboard, however when an alert is posted to a device using the API no email alert is generated. Therefor when the office closes, the person on call does not receive alerts posted to a device via the API.
Atera support have advised this is not supported at present, and there is no work around for it.
It would be good to have this supported by the main email alerts section under admin, or an API method whereby if say the value is 1 then an email is generated, if the value is 0 then no email is generated.
