Remove GUIDs from Attachment File Names in Tickets
None

From a technician's perspective, working within the Atera console...Tickets. or when accessing the ticket portal as a customer login, opening or saving an attachment results in a file name with a GUID preceding the actual file name. The same attachment in an email received by the ticket recipient is only the actual file name, no GUID. Please fix the portals so that when you are accessing an attachment (viewing or saving) will result in a file name consisting of only the file name, no GUID.

Also, when opening said attachment from either portal results in a dialog to only save the attachment. Please allow diaglog for previewing or saving.

GUID in file name when saving (or just wanting to view) from ticket: (#1)

GUID in file name when saving (or just wanting to view) from ticket: (#2)

GUID in file name when saving (or just wanting to view) from ticket. (#3)

In above screenshots, in addition to the GUID in the file name, there is also an issue that you cannot just click on the attachment and view it it the default app (like Preview on Mac).  In this case this is performed in FireFox on Mac. Most all other pages viewed in FF where you select an attachment allows you to view it without having to save it first.

Attachment as shown in recipients email when sent from ticket response.
No GUID in file name:
