By default, only technicians with the Admin role can view and configure Robin settings in the AI Center. If you want a technician to manage Robin without giving them full Admin access to everything else in Atera, enable the AI Center permission on a custom role instead.
Before you begin
Important: creating or editing a role requires the Access roles permission, which is included in Full admin access.
Grant AI Center access
To enable AI Center access for a non-admin role:
- Go to Admin > Users and security > Access roles.
- Select an existing role, or click New role to create one.
- From the Permissions tab, go to the System category.
- Enable AI Center.
- Under Role members, assign the technicians who should have this access.
- Click Save.
Technicians assigned to this role can now view and configure Robin settings in the AI Center, without needing the Admin role.
Note: This is a single permission - there's no separate toggle for individual AI Center areas (Analyze, Optimize, Integrations, Setup, or Settings). Enabling AI Center grants access to the AI Center section as a whole.
