A mirror driver is a display driver, for a virtual device, that mirrors the drawing operations of one or more additional physical display devices. When the mirror driver is installed, Splashtop Streamer captures the screen in a different way, enhancing the performance and reliability of remote desktop sessions. Key improvements include:
- Faster screen refresh rates and lower CPU usage: Particularly beneficial for older systems like Windows Server 2003 or 2008, where users might experience slow screen refresh rates or high CPU usage.
- Resolution of black screen issues: Helps fix situations where the remote computer's screen appears black, such as when the Chrome browser is running or if the computer doesn't have a monitor connected.
Install the mirror driver
