The process of 'auto healing' refers to a script being triggered to run when a threshold level is exceeded (e.g. a high memory usage alert, due to a web browser process). The purpose of the script is to heal or fix the problem.
Note: You must first create or upload a script to Atera before selecting the 'Run Script' option.
To attach an auto-healing script to a threshold item, follow the steps below:
1. From Admin (on the side panel), click Thresholds. The Threshold Profiles page appears.
2. Click on the individual profile, and select New item. |

3. Select the Custom tab, and customize the threshold item:

4. Click Select (under Run Script), to select the script. The Select Script screen appears. |
5. Click Select next to the script you wish to use. |
6. Then click Add. The auto-healing script is now attached to the threshold item. |
If the Threshold Profile is already assigned to a customer, then the auto-healing script is active and will run on the customer device(s) when the specified threshold parameters are met. If the Threshold Profile is not assigned to a customer, you must assign it.
