The OS overview dashboard is one of Atera's preset analytical reports. It shows an overview of OS distribution across your agents and eligibility for a Windows 11 upgrade.
Note:
- The Access reports permission is required to view preset analytical reports.
- Analytical reports are available to Expert, Master, and Enterprise users.
- Analytical reports are available to Growth, Power, and Superpower users.
Understanding the OS overview report
The OS overview section displays an overview of OS distribution including OS version, Build, Number, and number of agents per OS version. Click on the number of agents to view a list of agents with the selected OS and their name, site, folder, OS Environment, OS, OS build, OS version, and OS number.

The Windows 11 readiness section displays a list of OS versions eligible for Windows 11 upgrade, OS build, OS number, and the number of agents eligible with that OS version. Click on the number of agents to view a list of agents eligible and their site, folder, OS environment, build, version, and number.

The minimum requirements to upgrade to Windows 11 are:
- OS version: Windows 10
- Architecture: 64-bit system
- Display: High definition (720p)
- Processor: 1 GHz or faster with 2 or more cores
- TPM 2.0: Must be supported and enabled
- Secure Boot: Must be enabled
- RAM: 4 GB
- Storage: 64 GB of free space

Generate an OS overview report
1. From the sidebar, click Reports.
The Reports page appears.
2. From Analytical reports > Presets, click OS overview.
The OS overview dashboard appears.
