This article describes how to update your machines to the latest version of Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Update Windows via IT automation profiles
To automatically update your machines to the latest Windows 10 or Windows 11 version, simply create a new IT automation profile and select the 'Upgrades' task. After you select the Upgrades task, apply the profile to your devices, and run the task when desired.
To upgrade your machine to the latest selected version of Windows, it is necessary to have a valid license for that specific version. Windows upgrades involve time, utilizing network and disk resources, and possibly requiring multiple restarts.
If both options are selected, the profile verifies the eligibility of the device and proceeds with upgrading to the most compatible and up-to-date Windows version, whether it be Windows 10 or 11.
