Install Vicarius
Before installing Vicarius, we recommend syncing your sites first to ensure account data, configurations, and permissions are up to date for a smoother setup. For more info, see Atera's App Center

The installation runs silently in the background (no reboot needed) on any Windows device with the Atera Agent, even if it’s offline — as long as it comes back online within 24 hours.
To deploy Vicarius to your end-user devices:
1. From Devices (on the sidebar), select the device(s).
2. Click the ellipses icon () > Apps > Vicarius > vRx > Install.
Note:
- You can also deploy Vicarius (on a single device) by clicking Manage > Apps > Vicarius > vRx > Install.
- You can also deploy Vicarius via the Site page > Devices tab.
- You can also deploy Vicarius via the Customer page > Devices tab.
The Install Vicarius window appears.
3. Click Install.
Installation request sent. A snackbar confirming the installation request will appear on the bottom left of your screen.
Check the notification center (top right) for updates.
Once installed, the device(s) will appear in your Vicarius console.
