Connect supported manufacturers to automatically retrieve and populate purchase date and warranty expiration date when assets are added (to Asset Inventory or Custom assets pages). This ensures your asset data remains accurate and up to date without requiring manual entry.
Dell
Dell warranty data is enabled by default and and can't be turned off. To sync Dell purchase and warranty dates, enter the asset's serial number when adding the asset. Once the serial number is entered, the purchase date and warranty expiration date will populate automatically. To add Dell (or any other manufacturer's) asset, see Custom assets
Lenovo
Lenovo warranty integration requires setup before purchase and warranty dates can populate for new Lenovo assets.
Lenovo setup prerequisites
Before connecting Lenovo in Atera, complete the Lenovo API setup on Lenovo's side and generate a Client ID.
- Complete the Lenovo API setup.
- Generate a Client ID.
- Copy and securely store the Client ID before saving (it will be hidden afterward).
- Return to Atera and paste the Client ID to complete the Lenovo connection.
Note:

- Purchase date and warranty expiration date may become non-editable when synced from the manufacturer.
