To sign up for a trial:
1. Go to the Atera Signup page
2. Enter your work email and create a password.
Note: The password needs to be between 12 and 48 characters in length, and include both capital and lowercase letters, as well as numbers.
3. Check the box to agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Then click Next.
4. Enter your company name. Then click Next.
5. Enter your full name. Then click Next.

6. Select the option that best describes your business, and let us tailor the Atera platform for you. The following options are available:
- Part of an IT department at a company/organization: This will open the account under the IT Department solution. Learn more
- The other options will open the account under the MSP solution. Learn more
- Managed service provider (MSP)
- IT consultant
- Other
7. Click Next.
8. Select the number of technicians that will be using Atera. Then click Next.
9. Was it the whispers of the Bene Gesserit or a rebel transmission? Let us know how you heard about us. Then click Submit.

Activate App Center apps while on trial
The following App Center apps can be activated while on a trial:
Activate a paid subscription
Throughout the trial, a blue ribbon at the top of the Atera console will show you how many days you have left.
To activate a paid subscription:
1. Click Subscribe now.
The Purchase Trial page appears.
2. Fill out the page:
- Enter the number of technicians who will use Atera.
- Select the payment method (credit card or Paypal).
- Enter the billing address.
- Choose a payment plan (see IT Department plans or MSP plans).
- Select an annual or monthly payment plan.
- Note: Network Discovery is automatically enabled for enhanced functionality. Learn more
3. Click Subscribe.
The trial is closed and your paid subscription is activated immediately.
Deactivate a trial account
1. From Admin (on the sidebar), click Technicians.
The Technicians page appears.
2. Click Adjust subscription. The Subscription page appears.
3. Click Deactivate account. A survey will appear.
4. Complete the survey. Then click Submit.
A confirmation message appears.
5. Check the boxes to confirm. Then click Leave Atera.
Your trial account will be canceled immediately.
