You can create a completely flexible and editable invoice, that you can edit, save, print, create as a PDF, or email to your customer, for easy and instant customer billing.
To create an invoice:
1. From the main + dropdown menu, select New invoice.
The blank invoice appears.
Note: Your company name is pulled from your Invoice Settings (You can change your company details by going to Admin > Accounting > Invoice Settings tab).
2. Fill out the invoice fields, then save or print it, and send to your customer.
Once created, invoices can be found on the Billing page, under Invoices.
Note: The 'New invoice' feature is accessible from multiple locations within Atera.
You can access it within a customer, by clicking the New invoice button:

Invoice Actions
There are a number of actions you can take on your flexible invoices. The invoices can be edited, saved, printed, created as a PDF, emailed to your customer, or deleted.
To edit:
1. From the side panel, click on Billing.
2. Locate and click the specific invoice, from the Invoices section.
The invoice appears.
3. Make any changes you wish to make, then click Save or Save and close, to save your changes.
Additionally you can Email invoice, Create a PDF, or Print, by selecting the option from the left-hand, dropdown menu.
To email the invoice:
1. Click Email invoice, from the left-hand, dropdown menu.
The Email invoice screen appears.
2. Enter the email address of the contact you wish to send it to, then click Send.
The invoice is sent.
To delete the invoice(s):
1. From the side panel, click on Billing.
2. Locate and check the specific invoice(s), from the Invoices section.
3. Click the (delete) icon.
After confirmation, the invoice(s) is/are deleted.
Note: Flexible invoices can also be created, accessed, and edited from Customers > the customer's page > Invoices tab.
