If you already have a Webroot account, you can ask Webroot to migrate it to Atera. This will allow you to install the AV on your managed endpoints in just 1-click and have the billing managed through Atera.
Note:
- You will need an active Atera paid subscription in order to migrate your already existing Webroot account to Atera.
- For billing information, see Atera subscription information
To migrate your account:
1. You'll need to activate a new Webroot account through Atera. For more info, see Atera and Webroot
2. Once the Webroot account is activated through Atera, open the Webroot console and copy the parent keycode from the Webroot management console under the Settings tab > Account Information.
Note: The keycode should have this format: XXXX-ATRA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
3. Besides the Parent Keycode from the new Webroot account that was created through Atera, you will also need to copy the Parent Keycode from your already existing Webroot account.
4. Contact the Atera support team to initiate the migration process, providing them with the following details:
- The Parent keycode for your existing Webroot account with the current partner.
- The Parent keycode of the new Webroot account was created through Atera.
- The registered email address for the Webroot account with your current partner.
- Your company name.
- Your full name and surname.
Important note: If you haven't purchased Webroot directly from Webroot themselves, but from a different vendor, we will need an email confirmation from the vendor stating their acceptance of the migration. If you purchased Webroot directly from Webroot themselves, there is no need for a confirmation email.
Everything is completed from your end. Our support team will proceed with the migration process and notify you once it's done.
