You can use Splashtop RMM to remotely connect to a device using the Atera mobile app, or using Atera's WebApp version on your mobile phone or tablet.
Prerequisites
- The following permissions are required to establish a remote connection via mobile.
- Remote management > Remote connection
- System > Mobile
- You'll need the Splashtop RMM (available via the iOS App Store or Google Play) installed on the phone to initiate the remote connection. Otherwise, when attempting to initiate a remote connection, you'll be prompted to install Splashtop RMM. Once installed, return to the mobile app to initiate a new connection.
Connect via mobile app
To connect via mobile app:
1. Open the Atera mobile app.
2. Access the device (via Customers > Customer > Devices tab or via an alert on the Alerts page).
3. Click Connect.
The first time you use Splashtop on your mobile device you will see a 'Hints' overlay showing information on gestures that can be used within the remote connection. Click Continue to begin the remote connection.
Connect via webapp
To connect via webapp:
1. Log in to your account via www.app.atera.com
2. From the Devices tab, locate the device and click Connect (under the Remote access column).
The first time you use Splashtop on your mobile device you will see a 'Hints' overlay showing information on gestures that can be used within the remote connection. Click Continue to begin the remote connection.
