Manage asset types and fields from the Custom Assets page, and individual assets from the Site page.

Manage asset types
Go to Admin > Data management > Custom assets.
The Custom Assets page appears.
Edit, clone, or delete an asset type
1. Click the Actions dropdown menu on the chosen asset type.
2. Select from the following options:
- Edit: Editing actions include renaming the asset type, adding existing fields, creating new fields, and reordering fields. When you're done editing the asset type, click Save.
- Clone: The asset type template is duplicated with the suffix "- copy" (e.g., "Keyboard - copy").
- Delete: A confirmation window appears asking you to confirm that you want to delete the asset type and all related assets.

Reorder asset fields
1. Click an asset to open it.
2. Hover over an asset field, then click and drag it to the position you want.
Note: You can change the order of custom fields.
3. Click Save (on the top right of the screen).
Remove fields from an asset type
1. Click an asset to open it.
2. Click X on the asset field you want to remove.
3. Click Save (top right of the page).
The asset field is removed from the asset type and all assets within. The asset field can be added again at any time to the asset type by dragging and dropping it into the asset type template.
Manage asset fields
Note:
- Asset fields can be used across all your asset types.
- Editing an asset field will affect all assets that include that field. For example, changing the custom asset field title will reflect across all assets that include this field.
- You cannot edit an existing asset's field type (e.g., Date).
To manage asset fields:
1. Go to Admin > Data management > Custom assets.
The Custom Assets page appears.
2. Click the Asset fields tab.
Edit an asset field
1. From the Asset fields tab, click the Actions dropdown on an asset field to open it. Then select Edit.
The Edit asset field window appears.
4. You can edit the field title, default values (if applicable), and whether or not the field is required.
Note: Editing existing fields will affect all assets that include that field.
5. Click Save.
Awesome! Asset field updated.
Delete an asset field
1. From the Asset fields tab, click the Actions dropdown on an asset field to open it. Then select Delete.
A confirmation window appears.
4. Click Delete.
Poof! The asset field is deleted and has been removed from all asset types and assets using it.
Manage individual assets
You can filter assets on the Site page by asset name, asset type, folder, and user.
You can filter assets on the Customer page by asset name, asset type, folder, and contact.
To manage an asset:
1. From the Site page, go to the Asset tab.
1. From the Customer page, go to the Asset tab.
2. Click the asset name to open it. The asset page appears.
The Assets page is divided into two sections:
- System fields: Default asset fields (Asset type, Description, Site, Folder, and User).
- System fields: Default asset fields (Asset type, Description, Customer, Folder, and Contact).
- Custom fields: Custom asset fields.
3. Click the chevron icon () to expand and view Custom fields.
4. Click the name of the asset (top of the page) to edit it.
5. Make any other changes to any of the asset field values.
Note: You cannot edit the asset type.
6. Click Save.
The asset is updated.
