Schedule reports to give your customer and/or technicians valuable insights at a time that suits them best.
Schedule a report
The scheduled report is delivered to the user's or technician's inbox as an email summary. To view the full content of the report, the recipient can click the See report button in the email.
Note:
- Technicians access scheduled reports via email, with a link to the complete report on their Atera account.
- Users access scheduled reports via email, with a link to the Service Portal. The complete report is displayed in the email link, even if the contact has never accessed the Service Portal. They can also export (download) the complete report.

- Contacts access scheduled reports via email, with a link to the Customer Portal. The complete report is displayed in the email link, even if the contact has never accessed the Customer Portal. They can also export (download) the complete report.
To schedule a report:
1. Go to Reports (on the sidebar). The Reports page appears.
2. Hover over an Operational report, and click the clock () icon. If the icon is visible without hovering, the report is already scheduled. Click the clock icon to view or update the schedule.
The Scheduled reports page appears.
3. Select the parameters. Then click Schedule. The Add Schedule Report page appears.
4. Enter a Description (e.g., "GE's Weekly Auditor Report").
5. Select the Recipient (Contact or Technician), the field below will change depending on which option is selected here.
Note: You may need to select a customer when filling out the parameters in step 4 to schedule some reports for an end user.
6. Select one or more Technicians/Users.

Note: Only Contacts and Technicians already enabled in Atera can be selected. For more information on adding a contact, see Create a new contact
7. Select either the Weekly or Monthly tab, and then click the + button to add a schedule.
The Add Weekly/Monthly Schedule page appears.
8. Select the Days, Hour, and Frequency (weekly only). Then click Apply.
The selected schedule will appear in the Add Report Schedule window.
9. Click Apply to save the report schedule.
The Scheduled Reports form updates with the newly added schedules. From here you can Edit or Delete a scheduled report using the corresponding button.
Note: You can create multiple weekly and/or monthly schedules.
Edit the report schedule
To edit the report schedule:
From the Schedule report tab, click Edit and select:
- Configuration: Edit the Description, Recipients, Users/Technicians, and schedule.
- Configuration: Edit the Description, Recipients, Contacts/Technicians, and schedule.

Filters: Edit the Filter by, Time period, Technicians, Sites, and more.
Note: When editing the Filters, changing the site will remove any prior users set to receive the report. Further, if a recipient technician doesn't have the required site permissions for the newly selected site, they too will be removed from the list of recipients. -
Filters: Edit Filter by, Time period, Customer, Contracts, and more.
Note: When editing the Filters, changing the customer will remove any prior contacts set to receive the report. Further, if a recipient technician doesn't have the required customer permissions for the newly selected customer, they too will be removed from the list of recipients.
