This article will show you how to deactivate your Atera account.
Note:
- Before deactivating your Atera account, ensure you have removed all data, including the uninstallation of any Atera agents.
- Deleting an online device will send an uninstall command to the endpoint. If the device is offline in the console, the Atera agent can only be uninstalled locally from the machine (see instructions for Windows, Mac, and Linux).
Deactivate a paid account
To deactivate an Atera paid account:
1. From Admin (on the sidebar), click Subscriptions. The Subscription page appears.
2. Click Deactivate account. A 3-question survey appears.
3. Complete the survey. Then click Submit.
4. Check the boxes to confirm you want to cancel the account. Then click Leave Atera.
Your account will be canceled immediately and services will discontinue. Access cannot be resumed.
Deactivate a trial account
To deactivate an Atera trial account:
1. From Admin (on the sidebar), click Technicians. The Technicians page appears.
2. Click Adjust subscription. The Subscription page appears.
3. Click Deactivate account. A 3-question survey appears.
4. Complete the survey. Then click Submit.
5. Check the boxes to confirm want to cancel the account. Then click Leave Atera.
Your trial account will be canceled immediately and access cannot be resumed.
