How the site trials work
Each managed site is eligible for a 14-day trial. However, the nature of this trial's cost-effectiveness depends on its timing. If the trial concludes within the same month of its activation, it will be billed for that entire month, as Cynet does not prorate charges. In contrast, if the trial extends into the following month, the trial is considered free for its duration. This policy applies from the moment a site is created, and billing is always for full months, regardless of the specific number of days used within those months. Here are two examples:
- If you start a trial for a customer/site on December 10th, the 14-day trial ends on December 24th. Since the trial concludes within the same month it was activated, you will be billed for the entire month of December, regardless of the actual number of days used. This means that even if the service is used only for a part of the month post-trial, the full month's fees apply.
- If you start a trial for another customer/site on December 20th, this 14-day trial ends on January 3rd. As the trial crosses into the next calendar month (January), the trial period for December is considered free. You will be billed starting from January, effectively giving you a free trial for the last 11 days of December. Cool!
