To run a script immediately on a specific agent (or agents), you must first create or upload a script. Learn how to create and upload scripts. Scripts can also be cloned (and customized) from the Shared Script Library.
Run scripts on a single agent
1. Click Devices, on the side panel.
2. Next to the specific device, click to open the Manage dropdown menu and select Run Script.
The Run Script screen appears.
3. Select the script you wish to run, and Click Run.
Notes:
- You can also create a new script by clicking the Create Script button.
- We support the following formats: MSI, Bash files, CMD files, Powershell
Important Note: Should a script exceed a runtime of two minutes, the Script Summary Window will display the message: "Unable to reach agent... see the Recent Processes report for updates". Outputs will only be generated by scripts concluding within the two-minute timeframe.
Run scripts on multiple agents
To run a script on all (or some) agents belonging to a specific customer:
1. From the Customer page, click the Devices tab, then select All.
2. Select the specific device(s) by checking the checkbox(es) next to the device(s), then click the (Run Script) icon from the row of icons above.
The Run Script screen appears.
3. Make your selections:
- You can select a script Category to view.
- Select an Automation Expiration. You can choose to run a script on online agents only or specify how long to keep the task in the queue, till a device goes back online
- You can Filter scripts to easily find what you're looking for.
4. Click Run next to the script of your choice.
The script will run on the selected agent(s).
