Create software bundles by selecting applications from your WinGet, Chocolatey, Homebrew, and private repository. Once your bundle is ready, add it to automation profiles for seamless, hands-free installation — or install it manually whenever you need it.
Create software bundle
You can create software bundles for your Windows (Chocolatey, WinGet, and your private repo) and Mac (Homebrew) devices.
To create a software bundle:
1. Go to Admin > Monitoring and automation > Software management.
The Software management page appears.
2. From the Software bundles tab, click Create bundle. Then select the OS type for your bundle.
Note: Software bundles are OS-specific. In other words, deploying one to a different OS won’t update the software on that device.
The Create software bundle window appears.
3. Enter the bundle name.
4. Select the source:
- For Windows devices: Select All sources, WinGet, or Chocolatey.
- For Mac devices: Select All sources or HomeBrew.
5. Search for the software in the search bar. Then click Add software to include it in the bundle. Rinse and repeat until your bundle is fully stocked!
6. Click Create.
The software bundle appears in the Software bundles tab — where it can be edited, cloned, or deleted
Install software bundle
You can schedule software bundles for automatic installation via automation profiles, which can be assigned to agents, folders, or sites. You can also install them manually, either individually or in bulk, via the Devices page.
